The AirTAC Airtac 3V1 Solenoid Valve 3V106BI7F is a genuine 3-port 2-position (3/2) solenoid valve with 1/8 in ports. It either feeds its outlet or vents it to exhaust, which is what makes it the valve for single-acting cylinders, on/off air blow, clamping, vacuum switching and pilot duty.
3V106BI7F is a factory-built manifold of seven AirTAC 3V1 valves, each a 3/2 direct-acting unit with a single solenoid and spring return. Every station controls one line: it either feeds the outlet with compressed air or dumps it to exhaust, which suits single-acting cylinders, clamps, blow nozzles and pilot signals. The DC24V coils draw just 3.0 W each, so a whole seven-station block stays easy on your power supply.
Electrical entry is the flying-lead (I) version: each coil comes pre-wired with a lead-out instead of a DIN socket, which speeds up terminal-strip wiring in control cabinets. The valves share common supply and exhaust passages through the manifold base, cutting the number of separate fittings on the panel. IP65 (DIN 40050) coil protection and a manual override on every station round out the package.

Figures follow the official AirTAC 3V1 catalogue. Confirm coil voltage and thread (PT / NPT / G) against the product label before wiring.
| 3V1 | Body — sets the flow, the coil power and whether vacuum is rated. |
|---|---|
| 1/8 in | Port size. M5, 06 = 1/8 in, 08 = 1/4 in, 10 = 3/8 in. |
| DC24V | Coil voltage. A = AC220V, B = DC24V, C = AC110V, E = AC24V, F = DC12V. |
| I | Electrical entry: I = flying lead, otherwise a DIN plug. |
| 7F | 7 stations in one assembly. |
| PT | Port thread. PT ships from stock; G and NPT are available to order. |
A 3/2 valve has three ports — supply, outlet and exhaust — and two states. It either feeds the outlet or vents it to exhaust, and that is the whole job.
That makes it the right valve for a single-acting (spring-return) cylinder, on/off air blow, a clamp, switching a vacuum generator or suction cup, and piloting a larger valve.
It cannot run a double-acting cylinder. A double-acting cylinder needs air alternately on two sides, which takes a 5-port valve — the AirTAC 4V series.
Each 3/2 station vents or feeds one single-acting clamp cylinder on an SMT pick-and-place head, and the DC24V coils connect straight to the machine PLC's relay outputs.
Seven blow nozzles along a bottle-rinse conveyor get one valve each; the shared manifold base removes a tangle of separate fittings and their potential leak points.
Use the 7 stations to pilot larger process valves in sequence; the 3.0 W coils and the manual override make commissioning of the skid straightforward.
The 3V1 is the smallest, lowest-power body in AirTAC's 3V range, so treat this 7-station assembly as a compact-signal solution rather than a high-flow one. No Cv is published for 3V1; if your duty is flow-critical, confirm the sizing with us before ordering. When you need more flow, step up to 3V2 (1/8in and 1/4in, NC or NO selectable, Cv 0.18-0.19, and rated for vacuum) or 3V3 (1/4in, Cv 0.62). If manifold density matters more than flow, 3V2M is the dedicated choice. A double-acting cylinder takes a 5-port valve - point that application at the AirTAC 4V series.
Before you order, match five points: port (M5 or 1/8in), thread (PT is standard on this family; G and NPT are order options), coil voltage, entry (DIN plug or flying lead), and station count - manifolds run from 1 to 20 stations, and this code fixes it at 7.

It is a 3/2 direct-acting, single-solenoid, spring-return valve bank with seven stations on a shared base. Operating pressure is 0-0.8 MPa (0-114 psi), media temperature -20 to 70 C, and each DC24V coil draws 3.0 W (family-wide: AC220V and AC110V are 4.5 VA, AC24V 5.0 VA, DC12V 2.5 W). Protection is IP65 to DIN 40050. Air must be filtered to 40 um or finer and lubrication is not required. AirTAC publishes no Cv for the 3V1 body - ask us to confirm flow before you commit.
7F marks a 7-station manifold assembly in series. AirTAC builds the same 3V1 valve as individual units or as 1F to 20F manifolds, and each coil here takes 3.0 W at DC24V. The coils use flying leads rather than a DIN plug, and the ports are 1/8in PT - the standard thread on this family, with G and NPT available to order. Note that 3V1 is supplied in a single fixed initial state - confirm it on the datasheet before wiring your interlock logic.
