3V106C is the single-valve 3V1 in the AC110V version: a 3/2 direct-acting solenoid with one coil and a spring return. It has three ports and two states - supply to outlet, or outlet dumped to exhaust - so it drives single-acting cylinders, clamps, blow nozzles, or pilots a larger main valve. The 110 V coil pulls only 4.5 VA, which keeps transformers and control circuits small.
Entry is the standard DIN plug: the coil sits on a socket connector that unplugs in seconds for service or coil swaps. You also get IP65 (DIN 40050) coil protection, a manual override for set-up, and 1/8in ports cut with the PT thread that is the default on this family. What a 3/2 Valve Does
A 3/2 valve has three ports — supply, outlet and exhaust — and two states. It either feeds the outlet or vents it to exhaust, and that is the whole job.
That makes it the right valve for a single-acting (spring-return) cylinder, on/off air blow, a clamp, switching a vacuum generator or suction cup, and piloting a larger valve.
It cannot run a double-acting cylinder. A double-acting cylinder needs air alternately on two sides, which takes a 5-port valve — the AirTAC 4V series.

As an individual valve, 3V106C is the entry point to the 3V range - the smallest body with the lowest coil draw. It carries no published Cv, so confirm any flow-critical duty with us first.
