The AirTAC Airtac 3V1 Solenoid Valve 3V106C7F-AM is a genuine 3-port 2-position (3/2) solenoid valve with 1/8 in ports. It either feeds its outlet or vents it to exhaust, which is what makes it the valve for single-acting cylinders, on/off air blow, clamping, vacuum switching and pilot duty.
Seven 3/2 stations on one base: 3V106C7F-AM turns seven feed-or-vent circuits into a single compact bank. Direct acting with spring return, each valve either pressurises its outlet or exhausts it, which suits single-acting cylinders, clamps, blow duty and pilot signals alike.
Each AC110V coil draws 4.5 VA on a DIN plug connection, the housing is IP65 (DIN 40050) rated, and the medium must be air filtered to 40 um or finer. Manual overrides on every station simplify setup and fault-finding on the machine.

Figures follow the official AirTAC 3V1 catalogue. Confirm coil voltage and thread (PT / NPT / G) against the product label before wiring.
| 3V1 | Body — sets the flow, the coil power and whether vacuum is rated. |
|---|---|
| 1/8 in | Port size. M5, 06 = 1/8 in, 08 = 1/4 in, 10 = 3/8 in. |
| AC110V | Coil voltage. A = AC220V, B = DC24V, C = AC110V, E = AC24V, F = DC12V. |
| — | Electrical entry: I = flying lead, otherwise a DIN plug. |
| 7F | 7 stations in one assembly. |
| PT | Port thread. PT ships from stock; G and NPT are available to order. |
A 3/2 valve has three ports — supply, outlet and exhaust — and two states. It either feeds the outlet or vents it to exhaust, and that is the whole job.
That makes it the right valve for a single-acting (spring-return) cylinder, on/off air blow, a clamp, switching a vacuum generator or suction cup, and piloting a larger valve.
It cannot run a double-acting cylinder. A double-acting cylinder needs air alternately on two sides, which takes a 5-port valve — the AirTAC 4V series.
Seven pilot signals for larger process valves leave one shared supply, cutting tubing runs across a water-treatment skid.
Spring-return gripper cylinders in a fast electronics assembly cell cycle on 4.5 VA coils, keeping the control cabinet load light.
Feed the gate-lock cylinder while the cell runs and vent it when the guard opens - a duty where spring return behaviour counts.
With no published Cv for the 3V1 body, 3V106C7F-AM should be chosen for its compactness and low coil draw rather than for flow - confirm any flow-critical duty with us. If the circuit needs more air, step up to 3V2 (1/8in and 1/4in, NC or NO selectable, Cv 0.18-0.19, vacuum rated) or 3V3 (1/4in, Cv 0.62); 3V2M suits dense manifolds where flow is secondary.
Lock down five choices at ordering: M5 or 1/8in port; thread (PT is the family default, G and NPT are order options); coil voltage; DIN plug or flying lead; and the manifold station count. For double-acting cylinder duty, switch to the 5-port AirTAC 4V series.

Pressure 0-0.8 MPa (0-114 psi); temperature -20 to 70 C; air filtered to 40 um or better; IP65 (DIN 40050). Coil draw: 4.5 VA at AC110V (AC220V also 4.5 VA, AC24V 5.0 VA, DC24V 3.0 W, DC12V 2.5 W). AirTAC states no Cv for the 3V1 body, so verify any flow-critical duty with us.
Yes - the catalogue lists AC220V, AC110V, AC24V, DC24V and DC12V coils, DIN plug or flying-lead entry, and G or NPT threads as order options (PT is the standard thread on this family), with station counts from 1F to 20F. Specify your requirements in an RFQ and we confirm the exact code for you.
