The AirTAC Airtac 3V1 Solenoid Valve 3V106E6F is a genuine 3-port 2-position (3/2) solenoid valve with 1/8 in ports. It either feeds its outlet or vents it to exhaust, which is what makes it the valve for single-acting cylinders, on/off air blow, clamping, vacuum switching and pilot duty.
Six independent 3/2 valves share a single PT1/8 manifold in the 3V106E6F assembly, each valve direct-acting with a single AC24V solenoid and spring return. One station can feed a line while another vents it, covering single-acting cylinders, clamps, blow-off and pilot duty from one air connection.
Because all six coils draw just 5.0 VA at AC24V, a small control transformer can drive the whole assembly, and IP65 (DIN 40050) sealing protects the DIN plug connections on dusty machine frames.

Figures follow the official AirTAC 3V1 catalogue. Confirm coil voltage and thread (PT / NPT / G) against the product label before wiring.
| 3V1 | Body — sets the flow, the coil power and whether vacuum is rated. |
|---|---|
| 1/8 in | Port size. M5, 06 = 1/8 in, 08 = 1/4 in, 10 = 3/8 in. |
| AC24V | Coil voltage. A = AC220V, B = DC24V, C = AC110V, E = AC24V, F = DC12V. |
| — | Electrical entry: I = flying lead, otherwise a DIN plug. |
| 6F | 6 stations in one assembly. |
| PT | Port thread. PT ships from stock; G and NPT are available to order. |
A 3/2 valve has three ports — supply, outlet and exhaust — and two states. It either feeds the outlet or vents it to exhaust, and that is the whole job.
That makes it the right valve for a single-acting (spring-return) cylinder, on/off air blow, a clamp, switching a vacuum generator or suction cup, and piloting a larger valve.
It cannot run a double-acting cylinder. A double-acting cylinder needs air alternately on two sides, which takes a 5-port valve — the AirTAC 4V series.
Each of the six gates gets its own 3/2 valve, so diverters can fire in any sequence while sharing one manifold supply.
Low-power AC24V coils let a safety-rated control circuit energise six clamps, all venting to exhaust on power loss.
Blow-clear nozzles are switched station by station without a cabinet full of separate valves and fittings.
Manifold density is where the 3V1 body earns its place: up to 20 valves can be mounted in series, so a 6-station assembly like this leaves room to grow without re-plumbing. Note that 3V1 has no published Cv - if the duty is flow-critical, confirm sizing with us first, or step up to 3V2 (Cv 0.18-0.19, 1/8in or 1/4in, NC or NO selectable, vacuum capable) or 3V3 (1/4in, Cv 0.62). 3V2M wins when a dense manifold matters more than flow.
Before ordering, confirm: 1/8in port, PT thread (order G or NPT if needed), AC24V voltage, DIN plug entry, and 6 stations. For double-acting cylinders you need the 5-port AirTAC 4V series instead.

Pressure 0-0.8 MPa (0-114 psi); temperature -20 to 70 C; AC24V coil power 5.0 VA (other voltages: AC220V/AC110V 4.5 VA, DC24V 3.0 W, DC12V 2.5 W); IP65 to DIN 40050; air filtered to 40 um or finer, no lubrication needed; manual override fitted. No Cv or effective-area figure is published for 3V1.
A shared PT1/8 base means one air connection, fewer fittings and less panel space, and the series mounting accepts 1 to 20 stations. Each valve still acts independently, driving single-acting cylinders, blow or pilot duty - but never a double-acting cylinder, which needs an AirTAC 4V 5-port valve.
