The AirTAC Airtac 3V1 Solenoid Valve 3V106F6F is a genuine 3-port 2-position (3/2) solenoid valve with 1/8 in ports. It either feeds its outlet or vents it to exhaust, which is what makes it the valve for single-acting cylinders, on/off air blow, clamping, vacuum switching and pilot duty.
The 3V106F6F is a six-station manifold of AirTAC 3V1 direct-acting 3/2 solenoid valves on a shared 1/8in PT base. Each valve has three ports - supply, outlet, exhaust - and two states, so it either feeds a line or vents it, exactly what single-acting cylinders, blow nozzles, clamps and pilot stages need. Every station is single solenoid with spring return.
Wiring is by pre-fitted flying leads rather than a DIN socket, so each station terminates in a lead-out wire you route to your own terminals. The DC12V coil draws 2.5 W, and the coil housing is IP65 (DIN 40050) against dust and splash. Six valves integrated in series on one manifold save panel space compared with six individually plumbed bodies.

Figures follow the official AirTAC 3V1 catalogue. Confirm coil voltage and thread (PT / NPT / G) against the product label before wiring.
| 3V1 | Body — sets the flow, the coil power and whether vacuum is rated. |
|---|---|
| 1/8 in | Port size. M5, 06 = 1/8 in, 08 = 1/4 in, 10 = 3/8 in. |
| DC12V | Coil voltage. A = AC220V, B = DC24V, C = AC110V, E = AC24V, F = DC12V. |
| — | Electrical entry: I = flying lead, otherwise a DIN plug. |
| 6F | 6 stations in one assembly. |
| PT | Port thread. PT ships from stock; G and NPT are available to order. |
A 3/2 valve has three ports — supply, outlet and exhaust — and two states. It either feeds the outlet or vents it to exhaust, and that is the whole job.
That makes it the right valve for a single-acting (spring-return) cylinder, on/off air blow, a clamp, switching a vacuum generator or suction cup, and piloting a larger valve.
It cannot run a double-acting cylinder. A double-acting cylinder needs air alternately on two sides, which takes a 5-port valve — the AirTAC 4V series.
On a carton-sealing line, each station vents a hot-melt glue nozzle clean between beads, all fed from one 1/8in PT manifold supply.
Each output feeds a spring-return miniature clamp on a small assembly fixture, releasing to exhaust the moment the coil is de-energised.
Six independent pilot lines on a laboratory pneumatic test bench switch from one compact manifold block instead of six separate valves.
3V1 is the smallest, lowest-power body in the AirTAC 3V range and no Cv is published for it, so for flow-critical duties confirm sizing with us before ordering. When you need more flow, step up to 3V2 (1/8in and 1/4in, NC or NO selectable, Cv 0.18-0.19, rated for vacuum) or 3V3 (1/4in, Cv 0.62); where valve density matters more than flow, 3V2M is the dedicated manifold body. Need to drive a double-acting cylinder? That takes a 5-port valve - the AirTAC 4V series.
Before ordering a 3V106F6F, match five points: 1/8in port with PT thread (the family standard; G and NPT are catalogue options to order), the DC12V coil, flying-lead entry, and the six-station manifold length versus an individual valve.

Operating pressure 0-0.8 MPa (0-114 psi); media temperature -20 to 70 C; IP65 (DIN 40050) coil housing; 3/2 direct-acting, single solenoid, spring return; 1/8in PT ports; manual override fitted. Coil power by voltage: AC220V 4.5 VA, AC110V 4.5 VA, AC24V 5.0 VA, DC24V 3.0 W, DC12V 2.5 W - this SKU uses the 2.5 W DC12V coil. AirTAC publishes no Cv or effective area for the 3V1 body; confirm flow with us if it matters for your duty.
One manifold base replaces six separately plumbed valves, cutting fittings and panel space, while the flying leads let you wire each station straight to your PLC or relay terminals without buying DIN plugs. A manual override on every valve helps during installation and commissioning.
