3V1M5B1F is the single-station entry into the AirTAC 3V1 manifold family: one 3/2-way, direct-acting solenoid valve with spring return, M5 ports, and a 1-station series base. The valve alternates between feeding its outlet and venting it to exhaust, which is exactly what single-acting cylinders, air-blow jets, clamps and pilot stages need.
The DC24V coil draws only 3.0 W, the lowest-power option in the family, and connects through a DIN plug socket with IP65 (DIN 40050) protection. A manual override is fitted so the valve can be trialled without power during commissioning. Air is the working medium, filtered through a 40 um or finer element; lubrication is not required.

What a 3/2 Valve Does
A 3/2 valve has three ports — supply, outlet and exhaust — and two states. It either feeds the outlet or vents it to exhaust, and that is the whole job.
That makes it the right valve for a single-acting (spring-return) cylinder, on/off air blow, a clamp, switching a vacuum generator or suction cup, and piloting a larger valve.
It cannot run a double-acting cylinder. A double-acting cylinder needs air alternately on two sides, which takes a 5-port valve — the AirTAC 4V series.

Pilot stage on a process valve
