The AirTAC AirTAC 3V110-06NC Solenoid Valve 3/2 NC 1/8in DC24V G is a genuine 3-port 2-position (3/2) solenoid valve with 1/8 in ports. A 3/2 valve either feeds its outlet or vents it to exhaust, so it suits single-acting cylinders, air blow, clamping, vacuum switching and pilot duty. We stock this code and confirm its published figures from the datasheet on request.
The 3V110-06NC-BG is a three-port, two-position (3/2) solenoid valve from AirTAC. Three ports mean supply, outlet and exhaust; two positions mean the valve either feeds air to the outlet or vents it. Because this SKU is normally closed, the outlet stays shut off until the coil is energised, and on power loss the downstream side relaxes to exhaust - exactly the fail-safe behaviour a spring-return actuator needs.
We stock this SKU as a genuine AirTAC part and ship it as configured: DC24V coil, DIN plug electrical entry, 1/8in port with G thread. Across the 3V1x0 family we also carry the normally open version, other coil voltages, flying-lead entry and 3V-F manifold bases. Any datasheet figure you need before committing to an order, just ask through the RFQ and we will confirm it from the manufacturer documentation.

A 3/2 valve has three ports — supply, outlet and exhaust — and two states. It either feeds the outlet or vents it to exhaust, and that is the whole job.
That makes it the right valve for a single-acting (spring-return) cylinder, on/off air blow, a clamp, switching a vacuum generator or suction cup, and piloting a larger valve.
It cannot run a double-acting cylinder. A double-acting cylinder needs air alternately on two sides, which takes a 5-port valve — the AirTAC 4V series.
Energise the coil to clamp the workpiece, cut power and the clamp vents and releases. The NC state makes the fixture fail to its safe, released position.
A PLC output switches the DC24V coil to pulse a short burst of air that clears dust or droplets from bottle necks before capping.
The valve switches a pilot air feed to a larger process valve, letting a 24V control signal govern a line the panel could not drive directly.
Start with the fail-safe state. Normally closed gives you no air at the outlet until the coil is powered, which suits clamping and holding jobs that must release when the panel goes dead. If your process must keep flowing on power loss, ask for the NO variant instead. Next, the port: 1/8in is the smallest of the threaded sizes here and suits compact single-acting cylinders and light blow duties; step up to 1/4in or 3/8in in the family if the actuator is bigger. This SKU carries a G thread - in this family PT is the manufacturer default and G is an order option, so match it to your fittings. The DC24V coil must match your panel supply; a solenoid coil cannot be converted to another voltage by rewiring. DIN plug entry means you terminate into a socket on the valve rather than dealing with a pre-wired flying lead.
Because published flow figures for the 3V1x0 family are not in our hands, send us the actuator details and we will confirm sizing against the datasheet before you order. If you need a 3-port valve with fully published flow and coil-power figures today, the AirTAC 3V2 (1/8in and 1/4in) and 3V3 (1/4in) direct-acting bodies carry documented data. For a double-acting cylinder you need a 5-port valve - see the AirTAC 4V series.
Confirm before you order
We hold no published datasheet for this family, so we will not quote numbers we cannot stand behind. Ask us through the RFQ and we will confirm pressure range, flow, coil power and any other figure you need directly from the manufacturer documentation. If you need fully documented data on the page today, the AirTAC 3V2 and 3V3 3-port bodies have published flow and coil-power figures.
No. A 3/2 valve has one outlet and can only feed or vent a single chamber, so it suits single-acting spring-return cylinders and similar duties. A double-acting cylinder needs two outlet ports to alternate between chambers - use a 5-port valve from the AirTAC 4V series for that.
