The AirTAC Airtac 3V2M-F Base 3V2M20F is a genuine 3V2M manifold base for 20 stations on one shared air supply. A base is a machined block: it carries no coil and no solenoid, so the valves that sit on it are ordered separately.
At 20 stations, the 3V2M20F is the densest base in the AirTAC 3V2M manifold family. It is a machined block that carries twenty 3/2 valve bodies, feeds them all from one shared supply and vents every station through one centralised exhaust port. The base has no coil, no solenoid, no NC or NO state and no IP rating - those belong to the valves ordered separately.
Plan the power budget before populating all 20 positions: with DC coils, each energised station draws 7.0 W, so a fully switched 20-station bank needs about 140 W, close to 6 A at 24 V. Shared wiring through the manifold keeps that single feed tidy and makes fault-finding a matter of checking the block, not twenty loose valves.

Figures follow the official AirTAC 3V2M catalogue. Confirm coil voltage and thread (PT / NPT / G) against the product label before wiring.
| 3V2M | Body — sets the flow, the coil power and whether vacuum is rated. |
|---|---|
| 1/8 in | Port size. M5, 06 = 1/8 in, 08 = 1/4 in, 10 = 3/8 in. |
| 20F | 20 stations in one assembly, centralised exhaust. |
| PT | Port thread. PT ships from stock; G and NPT are available to order. |
A 3/2 valve has three ports — supply, outlet and exhaust — and two states. It either feeds the outlet or vents it to exhaust, and that is the whole job.
That makes it the right valve for a single-acting (spring-return) cylinder, on/off air blow, a clamp, switching a vacuum generator or suction cup, and piloting a larger valve.
It cannot run a double-acting cylinder. A double-acting cylinder needs air alternately on two sides, which takes a 5-port valve — the AirTAC 4V series.
Twenty spring-return clamps on a PCB test fixture switch in sequence from one manifold supply.
A packaging conveyor with twenty reject and divert gates runs its 3/2 valves from one shared air feed.
Twenty single-acting hold-downs on a harness crimping rig share one supply and one wiring harness through the block.
Match five points when ordering the twenty valves: NC or NO per station, coil voltage, DIN plug or flying-lead entry, the 20-station count, and centralised exhaust. PT is the standard thread; G and NPT are catalogue options.
Each base-mounted valve flows Cv 0.1 - the price of manifold density. Where a station needs more, use an individual 3V2 (Cv 0.18 at 1/8", 0.19 at 1/4", vacuum-rated) or a 3V3 (Cv 0.62 at 1/4"). The 3V1 at 3.0 W DC suits light duty and eases the power budget. Double-acting cylinders require the AirTAC 4V series. NC and NO cannot be changed after purchase.

Each mounted valve: Cv 0.1, 0-0.8 MPa (0-114 psi), -20 to 70 C, IP65 (DIN 40050). Coils: 7 VA on AC, 7.0 W on DC - so 20 DC stations all energised draw about 140 W, roughly 6 A at 24 V. The base itself has no electrical rating.
A base has no initial state - that is a property of each valve ordered onto it, and it cannot be converted afterwards by flipping the base gasket. This 20F is centralised exhaust: all twenty stations vent through one shared port. Per-station exhaust needs the D-coded base instead.
