The AirTAC Airtac 3V2M-F Base 3V2M6FD is a genuine 3V2M manifold base for 6 stations on one shared air supply. A base is a machined block: it carries no coil and no solenoid, so the valves that sit on it are ordered separately.
The 3V2M6FD gives a six-circuit machine the best of both plumbing styles: a single shared PT1/8 supply inlet, but six separate exhaust outlets so every station can be vented, silenced or ducted on its own terms. It is the natural choice where dust, oil mist or noise from one circuit must not be pushed back through a common vent.
The manifold block is purely mechanical - no coil, no voltage and no IP class belong to it. The six 3/2 solenoid valves that fill the stations are ordered separately, each with its own chosen state, coil and entry, and all of them share the one wiring run that a base-mounted layout provides.

Figures follow the official AirTAC 3V2M catalogue. Confirm coil voltage and thread (PT / NPT / G) against the product label before wiring.
| 3V2M | Body — sets the flow, the coil power and whether vacuum is rated. |
|---|---|
| 1/8 in | Port size. M5, 06 = 1/8 in, 08 = 1/4 in, 10 = 3/8 in. |
| 6F | 6 stations in one assembly, independent exhaust. |
| PT | Port thread. PT ships from stock; G and NPT are available to order. |
A 3/2 valve has three ports — supply, outlet and exhaust — and two states. It either feeds the outlet or vents it to exhaust, and that is the whole job.
That makes it the right valve for a single-acting (spring-return) cylinder, on/off air blow, a clamp, switching a vacuum generator or suction cup, and piloting a larger valve.
It cannot run a double-acting cylinder. A double-acting cylinder needs air alternately on two sides, which takes a 5-port valve — the AirTAC 4V series.
Pneumatic locks and chocks on a truck body can each take a valve on this base, venting at their own ports so road dirt at one vent does not affect the rest.
Six spring-return clamps positioning parts for welding are fed from one inlet here, with each clamp circuit exhausting locally for quick, quiet release.
Bench setups that switch air to gauges or reference devices station by station benefit from segregated exhausts, keeping one test's vented air away from the next.
Before ordering, settle the per-valve choices: NC or NO initial state (unchangeable once purchased), coil voltage, DIN plug versus flying-lead lead-out, plus the thread. PT1/8 is this family's standard; G and NPT versions exist as catalogue options to order - availability is confirmed via RFQ, not held as stock.
With six stations, worst-case coil load matters: six DC24V coils at 7.0 W total roughly 42 W, near 1.75 A at 24 V, so size the supply for all-on. Flow per valve is Cv 0.1 through the base; for a high-flow circuit use a standalone 3V2 (Cv 0.18, 1/8 in, vacuum-rated) or 3V3 (Cv 0.62, 1/4 in), and the 3.0 W DC 3V1 where power is tight. For double-acting cylinders, move to the AirTAC 4V series.

Six stations, one shared PT1/8 supply, one independent exhaust outlet per station. Fitted valves are 3/2 direct-acting with spring return, rated 0-0.8 MPa over -20 to 70 C, Cv 0.1 each, coils of 7 VA (AC) or 7.0 W (DC), and IP65 sealing - all of these belong to the valves, not to the bare manifold.
Independent exhausts let you fit individual mufflers, duct air away from products or operators, and stop a blocked or noisy station from affecting its neighbours. If none of that matters, the centralised-exhaust 3V2M6F is simpler to plumb. In both cases, valves are ordered separately and their NC or NO state is fixed at order time - it cannot be converted later.
