The AirTAC Airtac 3V2M-F Base 3V2M7F is a genuine 3V2M manifold base for 7 stations on one shared air supply. A base is a machined block: it carries no coil and no solenoid, so the valves that sit on it are ordered separately.
The 3V2M7F is a seven-station manifold base for the AirTAC 3V2M valve family. It is a machined block with no coil and no moving parts: it carries up to seven 3/2 valve bodies, routes one shared air supply to all of them and ties their wiring into a single run. Centralised exhaust means all seven stations vent through one common port, which keeps the piping on the machine simple.
Because the base carries no solenoid, it has no voltage, no coil power and no initial state - those belong to the valves, which are ordered separately. Valve bodies seat onto the block through a dedicated base gasket. Supply plumbing is PT1/8; PT is the standard thread on this family, with G and NPT available as order options.

Figures follow the official AirTAC 3V2M catalogue. Confirm coil voltage and thread (PT / NPT / G) against the product label before wiring.
| 3V2M | Body — sets the flow, the coil power and whether vacuum is rated. |
|---|---|
| 1/8 in | Port size. M5, 06 = 1/8 in, 08 = 1/4 in, 10 = 3/8 in. |
| 7F | 7 stations in one assembly, centralised exhaust. |
| PT | Port thread. PT ships from stock; G and NPT are available to order. |
A 3/2 valve has three ports — supply, outlet and exhaust — and two states. It either feeds the outlet or vents it to exhaust, and that is the whole job.
That makes it the right valve for a single-acting (spring-return) cylinder, on/off air blow, a clamp, switching a vacuum generator or suction cup, and piloting a larger valve.
It cannot run a double-acting cylinder. A double-acting cylinder needs air alternately on two sides, which takes a 5-port valve — the AirTAC 4V series.
Seven spring-return grippers on a carton-forming cell share one feed from the block, each valve switching its own gripper independently.
A filling line pulses seven air jets to dry bottle necks before labelling; centralised exhaust lets the whole frame vent through a single duct.
On a machining fixture, seven swing clamps are piloted from one manifold, so the clamping logic stays on a single wiring run.
Decide the valve count first: this block serves seven 3/2 functions, and unused or future positions are simply ordered later because 3V2M stations expand freely on the same platform. Choose thread for the machine plumbing - PT is the family standard, G and NPT are order options - then buy the seven valve bodies separately, fixing NC or NO, coil voltage and DIN plug or flying lead on each; NC/NO cannot be converted after purchase.
Flow is Cv 0.1 per valve, the trade-off for manifold density: an individual 3V2 gives Cv 0.18 (1/8 in) or Cv 0.19 (1/4 in) and is vacuum-rated, 3V3 gives Cv 0.62 at 1/4 in for the largest duties, and 3V1 needs only 3.0 W DC for small jobs. Double-acting cylinders are a job for the AirTAC 4V series, not 3V2M.
Confirm before you order
The base itself is a passive manifold. A mounted 3V2M valve gives Cv 0.1, operates at 0-0.8 MPa and -20 to 70 C, draws 7 VA on AC coils or 7.0 W on DC, and carries IP65 protection (DIN 40050). Air must be filtered to 40 um or finer; lubrication is not required.
No valves are included - order seven 3V2M bodies separately, choosing NC (no air at the outlet until energised) or NO (passes air until energised). The state is fixed by the valve you order: the dedicated base gasket cannot be flipped to convert NC to NO, so specify the initial state correctly at purchase.
