The 4V21008BG-W pairs the 4V200 single-solenoid 5/2 body with 1/4in G (BSPP parallel) ports and a DC24V coil. Electrically it behaves like every function-10 valve: energise to shift, de-energise and the spring returns the spool, sending the double-acting cylinder home. Size the valve so effective area / Cv is not the bottleneck for your cylinder bore and speed. Undersized valves slow the actuator. Note 5/3 (center) versions have a smaller effective area than the 5/2 of the same body size.
