About the Airtac ACED Double-acting Compact Cylinder ACED125X125B
A double acting compact cylinder built to ISO 21287, the ACED125X125B pushes a 25 mm rod out of BOTH covers, so the 125 mm bore delivers 5890.5 N at 0.5 MPa and 8246.7 N at 0.7 MPa in each direction - the rod-side area is identical on both strokes. The male rod thread (B code) bolts straight into your tooling, and the fixed TPU bumper at each end absorbs end-of-stroke shock.
The short ISO 21287 body saves about 50% of the mounting length of an ISO 15552 profile cylinder, which matters when a 125 mm bore has to fit inside a press frame or clamp fixture. For sizing: plan on roughly 3534 N of usable work at 0.5 MPa, and the through-rod can lift about 600 kg vertically - halve that for a 2:1 margin and you still move a 300 kg part. Note this cylinder does not hold position if air is lost; add a rod lock or pilot check for a held load.
