About the Airtac ACED Double-acting Compact Cylinder ACED125X15B
A double acting compact cylinder built to ISO 21287, the ACED125X15B pushes a 25 mm hard-chrome rod out of BOTH covers, so thrust is identical on the extend and retract strokes. At 0.5 MPa the 125 mm bore delivers 5890.5 N in either direction, rising to 8246.7 N at 0.7 MPa. The male rod thread (B code) bolts straight to heavy tooling, and the 15 mm stroke suits short clamp-and-release moves where a long body would never fit.
The short ISO 21287 body saves about 50% of the mounting length of an ISO 15552 profile cylinder, which matters inside press frames and weld fixtures.
