About the Airtac ACED Double-acting Compact Cylinder ACED12X25
This AirTAC ACED12X25 is a double acting compact cylinder built to ISO 21287 with a 12 mm bore and 25 mm stroke. A rod leaves both covers, so thrust is identical on every stroke: 42.4 N at 0.5 MPa and 59.4 N at 0.7 MPa, because both sides work on the rod-side area. The through-rod resists rotation and light side load, and the rear rod can carry a sensor flag or a second tooling point.
The short ISO 21287 body saves roughly 50% of the mounting length of an ISO 15552 profile cylinder, which is why it slots into small test fixtures and miniature handling stations. A hard-anodized aluminium body, S45C hard-chrome plated rod and fixed TPU bumpers at both ends keep it running at 30-500 mm/s.
