The ACED63X15 is a double acting, double-rod compact cylinder built to ISO 21287: a 16 mm hard-chrome S45C rod exits both covers of the 63 mm bore, so output force is equal in both directions because each stroke works on the rod-side area. At 0.5 MPa it delivers 1458.1 N either way, and 2041.3 N at 0.7 MPa. The short hard-anodized aluminium body saves about 50% of the mounting length of an ISO 15552 profile cylinder, which is why it drops into tight jigs, guarding and gantry frames where a full-length body simply will not fit.
