Double acting and adjustable, the AirTAC ACPJ20X150-50SB is a discontinued DIN-standard compact cylinder with a 20 mm bore and a made-to-order 150 mm stroke. A stop screw trims the extend stroke by up to 50 mm on site, giving a usable range of 100-150 mm, and the fixed TPU bumper pads at both ends simply decelerate the piston. At 0.5 MPa it pushes 157.1 N and pulls 117.8 N; a practical rule of thumb is to plan on roughly 94 N of real work (about 0.6 of the push figure), which vertically lifts about 9 kg with a 2:1 margin.
The hard-anodized aluminium body with an S45C hard-chrome rod saves about 50% of the mounting length of an ISO 15552 profile cylinder, so it slots into tight gantries and guarding. This model carries the optional -S magnet, so CMSE / DMSE reed or solid-state switches can be mounted for end-of-stroke sensing.
