About the Airtac B06-SUD Battery Dedicated Standard Cylinder B06-SUD100X225
The B06-SUD100X225 is AirTAC's battery-manufacturing dedicated variant of the SUD100X225 double-acting double-rod profile cylinder. The B06- prefix marks it for cell, module and pack assembly lines, but mechanically it is identical to the base model. A rod exits both ends of the single piston, meaning both faces use the rod-side area and push/pull force is equal both ways at 3681 N @0.5 MPa, 5153 N @0.7 MPa and 6626 N @0.9 MPa. The 1/2 inch port, Ø25 mm rod and M20x1.5 thread are fixed by the 100 mm bore. This legacy SKU has no magnet and cannot take a switch.
This SUD profile cylinder is discontinued and the exact drop-in replacement is the SAUD100X225, which retains the same body, bore, stroke, force and FA/LB mounting. The SAUD upgrades to current CMSG/DMSG/EMSG sensors and offers an SAUF built-in-valve variant the SU line lacked. Because the second rod prevents rotation and can drive a second tool, a safe working load is roughly 2209 N (60% of the 0.5 MPa force), yielding a vertical lift capacity of about 188 kg with a 2:1 margin.
