The double rod earns its place when you need equal extend/retract force, resistance to rotation, or a back rod end to trip a switch or carry a stop.

Remember this cylinder does not hold a load if air pressure is lost - the piston drifts. Use an external rod lock or pilot check valve for held positions. The -S magnet enables CMSG/DMSG/EMSG sensors; the SDB pivot block is not available on this double-rod variant.
