A critical design distinction is that the holding force (5500 N) is completely separate from the cylinder's thrust (3681 N); you must size the clamp's holding capacity against your static load, not the push thrust. For replacement, verify the double-rod layout, 1000mm stroke, PT port threads, 1/2 inch cylinder ports, and the -S magnet option.
When integrating this cylinder, note that the BSAID mounting set omits FB, CA, CB, and CR brackets, accepting only Basic, FA, LB, TC, TCM1, and TCM2. Because the stroke is 1000mm, the M20x1.5 rod provides substantial side-load capacity, but an external guide rail is essential to prevent binding. Safety dictates that the clamp unlocks only when air pressures are balanced; otherwise, the rod may jump abruptly, requiring an independent safety measure for human-safety loads.
