The clamp locks only after the rod has stopped; it cannot brake a moving load. It must be unlocked with balanced air pressures on both sides of the piston, or the rod may jump abruptly. Safety-critical applications require an independent external measure.
This BSAID100X125 uses PT tapered ports (1/2 inch cylinder ports, G1/8 enclasp port) and accepts Basic, FA, LB, TC, TCM1, and TCM2 mounts (omitting FB, CA, CB, CR). It lacks a standard magnet, so add an -S suffix if CMSE reed or DMSE electronic sensors are needed.
