Select BSAID over a stroke-end-only SAIL when you must enclasp the load anywhere in the travel, and choose a plain SAID if no mid-stroke clamping is required.
This clamp engages only after the cylinder stops and releases only under balanced pressure, so safety-critical applications need an additional independent measure. The 25 mm rod and M20x1.5 thread handle high side loads, but long unsupported strokes still need an external guide.
