Choose this BSAID clamp-lock over a plain SAID double-rod cylinder when power-off safety or mid-stroke positioning is required. It also outperforms a SAIL cylinder, which only secures the load at the stroke ends, whereas this unit locks anywhere along the travel. Remember that the clamp engages only after the rod stops; it cannot brake a moving load, and safety-critical applications require an additional independent safety measure.
For a direct replacement, match the double-rod configuration, 125mm bore, 80mm stroke, and PT tapered port threads. The BSAID mounting set omits the FB, CA, CB, and CR brackets, accepting only Basic, FA, LB, TC, TCM1, and TCM2 mounts.
