Delivering 402 N of push force at 0.5 MPa, this double-acting JIS-standard profile cylinder saves valuable space by being shorter than an ISO 15552 cylinder of the same 32 mm bore. The extruded hard-anodized aluminum barrel omits external rods to resist wear, while the two-way piston seal retains grease for a long, low-friction service life. Because this SKU lacks the -S magnet, it cannot accept CMSE or DMSE position switches.
Designed for tight 10 mm micro-stroke movements, it ports via G1/8 and runs at 30-800 mm/s. Plan for about 241 N of real work at 0.5 MPa, which safely lifts roughly 20 kg vertically with a 2:1 margin. Adjustable 20 mm air cushions at both ends decelerate the piston near stroke end.

Is the Airtac JSI Series Standard Cylinder JSI32X10 the Right Cylinder?
As the smallest available JSI bore, there is no smaller option if 402 N at 0.5 MPa is insufficient; stepping up to the JSI40X10 raises push force to 628 N. Note that this 10 mm stroke is a non-standard, made-to-order dimension outside the standard stroke list. Because this is a plain cylinder without a magnet, it cannot host sensors; choose the JSI32X10-S variant if you need CMSE or DMSE switches. Since air loss or a centered valve causes the piston to drift, install an external rod lock or pilot-operated check valve for suspended loads.
