Airtac MKJ Adjustable Cylinder MKJ25X50-10

The MKJ25X50-10 is a compact square-body multi-mount cylinder from AirTAC that can be fixed from 6 directions (front, back, left, right, top and bottom) and mounted side by side with other cylinders to save space. This no-rotating double-acting model has a 25 mm bore and a 50 mm stroke, with an extra 10 mm adjustable-stroke range on top, within the bore 25 maximum of 60 mm. At 0.5 MPa the bore 25 push side delivers a theoretical thrust of 245.4 N, and the cushion is a bumper. Magnetic-switch slots run around the body, and guide precision is high enough that no added lubricant is needed.

This is a genuine AirTAC part. The MK family differs from the standard MD family in that a fixed rod, no-rotating plate and brass bushing stop the piston rod from turning - useful where the load must not rotate. As the SKU shows, this model comes without a magnet. Operating pressure is 0.15-1.0 MPa (22-145 psi) at this bore, the medium is air filtered to 40 um, and the working temperature is -20 to 70 C (0 to 150 C only with the optional high-temperature seal material). Start with the bore: at 25 mm this cylinder gives a theoretical push thrust of 245.4 N at 0.5 MPa (206.2 N on the pull side), so check your load against that figure. Choose MK over MD when rod rotation must be prevented; MD is the standard version where rotation is allowed. This is a double-acting adjustable-stroke (MKJ) model: the listed stroke is 50 mm, and the -10 suffix adds a 10 mm adjustable range on top, within the bore 25 maximum of 60 mm - avoid specifying more stroke than the job needs, as the short cover favours compact strokes. No trailing S means no magnet is fitted; add the S suffix if you need switch sensing. The port is M5x0.8 with PT thread, and G thread is available on request.
