The AirTAC SAIF40X160S-08A is a double-acting ISO 15552 profile cylinder featuring a built-in 4M210-08 5/2 solenoid valve. The integrated valve provides an effective flow area of 16.0 mm2 (Cv 0.89) and operates at a maximum frequency of 5 cycles per second. Driven by an AC220V terminal connection coil drawing 3.5 VA, it activates in 0.05 seconds or less.
Because the cylinder body rates to 1.0 MPa but the integrated 4M210 valve limits pressure to 0.15-0.8 MPa, the practical working range for this assembled unit is 0.15-0.8 MPa. The manifold links the valve to the cylinder using O8 x O5 PU tubing. From the factory, the piston rod retracts when the coil is energised, but you can reposition the valve to extend-when-energised.
