While the extruded aluminum cylinder body is rated for 1.5 MPa proof pressure, the practical operating range for the assembled SAIF unit is 0.15-0.8 MPa due to the internal pilot valve limits. The 40 mm bore generates 628 N of push force and 528 N of pull force at 0.5 MPa. The factory setting retracts the piston rod when the coil is energised, but this behavior can be reconfigured to extend-on-energise simply by repositioning the valve. The manifold connects to the cylinder via an O8 x O5 PU tube, bridging the 1/4" cylinder port and the 1/4" valve port.
