The AirTAC SAIF50X100S-06A is a double-acting ISO 15552 profile cylinder featuring an integrated 4M210-06 5/2 solenoid valve. Driven by an AC220V terminal-entry coil consuming 3.5 VA, it responds in 0.05s. Although the cylinder body rates to 1.0 MPa, the built-in valve limits the practical operating range to 0.15-0.8 MPa.
By default, the piston rod retracts when the coil is energised, but you can reposition the valve to extend-when-energised. The manifold connects to the cylinder via O8xO5 PU tubing, meaning one 220V signal switches the actuator directly. Choose this 50mm bore when 32mm (402N push) is insufficient but 63mm (1559N) is excessive. A self-valved SAIF excels over a separate cylinder and remote valve when panel space is tight and running tubing is costly. For matching replacements, verify the 100mm stroke, 1/4" cylinder port, 1/8" valve port, AC220V terminal coil, PT threads, and -S magnet. Remember, the 5/2 valve routes air but does not lock the load; for true position holding under pressure loss, select an AirTAC SAIL lock cylinder instead.
