The AirTAC SAIF50X160S-08B is a double-acting ISO 15552 profile cylinder with a built-in 4M210-08 5/2 solenoid valve, delivering a Cv of 0.89. Driven by a DC24V terminal coil drawing 3.0W, it eliminates the need for remote plumbing. While the bare cylinder rates to 1.0 MPa, the integrated valve limits the practical working pressure to 0.15-0.8 MPa. In this 50mm bore configuration, it generates 982N of push thrust at 0.5 MPa.

By default, the factory setting retracts the piston rod when the coil is energised, but you can reconfigure it to extend-when-energised by repositioning the valve. The manifold connects to the cylinder via an O8xO5 PU tube, meaning the 1/4" valve port differs from the cylinder's own 1/4" port. Equipped with a magnet (-S), it supports position sensing with AirTAC CMSE reed or DMSE electronic sensors.
