Choose this 50mm bore when a 40mm bore provides insufficient thrust (628 N push at 0.5 MPa), but a 63mm bore (1559 N at 0.5 MPa) would be excessive. A self-valved SAIF50X500-08A is ideal for decentralized stations where running separate valve tubing is costly or space-prohibitive. Specify AC220V terminal entry for standard AC control panels.
Because the 500mm stroke exceeds 300mm, add an external guide to prevent rod side-loading and premature seal wear. The 5/2 valve holds position via pilot pressure, not a mechanical lock, so for dead-load holding choose a SAIL lock cylinder. Replacement requires matching bore 50, stroke 500, valve port 08, AC220V, terminal entry, PT thread, and no magnet (-S).
