The AirTAC Airtac SAIF Series Standard Cylinder with Valve SAIF63X125-10B is a genuine double-acting ISO 15552 cylinder with a Ø63mm bore, 125mm stroke and a built-in 4M310-10 5/2 solenoid valve — it switches itself from one coil signal, so no separate remote valve or extra plumbing is needed.
The AirTAC SAIF63X125-10B is a double-acting ISO 15552 profile cylinder with a built-in 4M310-10 5/2 solenoid valve, delivering a Cv of 1.68. Driven by a DC24V terminal coil consuming 3.0 W, it integrates pneumatic control directly onto the actuator. The assembly operates within a 0.15-0.8 MPa range, as the valve pilot pressure dictates the practical limit despite the cylinder body rating of 1.0 MPa. At 0.5 MPa, it generates 1559 N of push force.
By default, the piston rod retracts when the coil is energised, but you can reconfigure it to extend-when-energised by repositioning the valve. The manifold connects the valve to the 3/8 cylinder port using O10 x O6.5 PU tubing, while the valve itself features a 3/8 port. This self-switching design eliminates remote plumbing, saving panel space for decentralized machine stations. The valve achieves a max frequency of 4 cycles/sec under no load.

The cylinder rates to 1.0 MPa but the built-in valve operates 0.15–0.8 MPa, so run the assembled SAIF at 0.15–0.8 MPa. Default: rod retracts when the coil is energised (reconfigurable to extend). Specs follow the official AirTAC SAIF datasheet. Port options: PT / G.

SAIF does not hold its load without air — the valve routes air, it is not a lock. For load-holding use a SAIL (lock) or BSAI (clamp-lock).
Eliminates the need for a remote valve bank, allowing independent cylinder control across large factory layouts using a single DC24V signal.
The integrated 4M310 valve and manifold save valuable panel space, ideal for compact machines where external tubing is impractical.
Perfect for upgrading existing systems where routing new air lines to a central control cabinet is too costly or complex.
Choose this 63 mm bore when you need more force than the 50 mm variant (982 N push at 0.5 MPa) but want to avoid the larger envelope of an 80 mm unit (2513 N push). The SAIF63X125-10B is ideal for decentralized installations where running separate valve tubing is costly, as one DC24V terminal signal drives the actuator directly. The 125 mm stroke is well within standard limits and does not require auxiliary side-load guides.
For replacements, verify the 63 mm bore, 125 mm stroke, 3/8 valve port, DC24V voltage, terminal entry, and PT thread. Note that the 5/2 valve routes air but does not hold the load without live pressure; for true mechanical locking, consider the SAIL series. Since no magnet (-S) is specified, this unit does not support CMSE reed or DMSE electronic sensors.
Quick checklist
The 63 mm bore generates 1559 N push and 1402 N pull force at 0.5 MPa. The built-in 4M310-10 valve has a 30.0 mm2 orifice with a Cv of 1.68.
The DC24V coil energizes the 5/2 valve, which by default retracts the rod but can be repositioned to extend. The valve routes air but does not lock the load without live pressure; for holding, use a SAIL lock cylinder.
