This configuration includes a carbon steel piston rod, PT tapered threading, and a built-in magnet for position sensing with CMSE reed and DMSE electronic switches. Because the cylinder body rates to 1.0 MPa but the internal pilot valve limits supply to 0.15-0.8 MPa, the practical working range remains 0.15-0.8 MPa. The manifold links the valve to the cylinder using O10 x O6.5 PU tubing, keeping the 3/8 inch valve port distinct from the cylinder's own 3/8 inch port. For load-holding applications, note that the 5/2 valve routes air but does not lock the piston; a SAIL lock cylinder is required for true mechanical holding.
When replacing, verify the 175 mm stroke, 10 port code (3/8 inch), AC220V voltage, terminal entry, PT threads, and the -S magnet. The 4M310 valve supports 4 cycles per second maximum. At 175 mm stroke, side loads are minimal, but for any stroke over 300 mm, always use a guide to prevent rod binding.
