SAIF does not hold its load without air — the valve routes air, it is not a lock. For load-holding use a SAIL (lock) or BSAI (clamp-lock).

The 225 mm stroke is well within the 1500 mm standard limit, though for any stroke at or above 300 mm, adding external guide rails is recommended to prevent rod side-loading and premature seal wear. The integrated 4M310-08 valve removes the need to run long air lines back to a centralized manifold, making it ideal for space-tight machines.
This assembly uses an AC220V terminal coil with PT tapered threads and no sensor magnet. The 5/2 valve routes air but does not lock the load; if static holding is required, consider an AirTAC SAIL lock cylinder.
