The AirTAC Airtac SAIF Series Standard Cylinder with Valve SAIF63X50-10B is a genuine double-acting ISO 15552 cylinder with a Ø63mm bore, 50mm stroke and a built-in 4M310-10 5/2 solenoid valve — it switches itself from one coil signal, so no separate remote valve or extra plumbing is needed.
The AirTAC SAIF63X50-10B is a double-acting ISO 15552 profile cylinder engineered with a built-in 4M310-10 5/2 solenoid valve. This integrated assembly features a 3/8" valve port with a Cv of 1.68 and utilizes a PT3/8" cylinder port connected via O10 x O6.5 PU tubing. Driven by a DC24V terminal coil consuming 3.0 W, it achieves an IP65 rating and activates in 0.05 seconds or less. While the cylinder body rates to 1.0 MPa, the practical working range is 0.15-0.8 MPa because the internal pilot valve operates within that limit.
Delivering 1559 N of push force at 0.5 MPa and up to 2805 N at 0.9 MPa, this self-switching unit eliminates the need for a separate remote valve. The factory setting retracts the piston rod when the coil is energized, but you can reposition the valve to extend-when-energised. By managing its own actuation from a single coil signal, it slashes panel space and tubing runs, making it perfect for decentralized machine stations.

The cylinder rates to 1.0 MPa but the built-in valve operates 0.15–0.8 MPa, so run the assembled SAIF at 0.15–0.8 MPa. Default: rod retracts when the coil is energised (reconfigurable to extend). Specs follow the official AirTAC SAIF datasheet. Port options: PT / G.

Sized within the valve's 0.15–0.8 MPa range. Actual usable force is lower than theoretical due to friction and back-pressure.

SAIF does not hold its load without air — the valve routes air, it is not a lock. For load-holding use a SAIL (lock) or BSAI (clamp-lock).
Ideal for large automated lines where installing individual valve islands is impractical, letting each cylinder control its own cycle locally.
Provides 1559 N of push force at 0.5 MPa in tight spaces, removing the need to plumb external control valves nearby.
Perfect for upgrading older machines by adding self-contained actuation without the cost and labor of running new pneumatic tubing.
Choose this 63 mm bore when 50 mm (982 N push at 0.5 MPa) is insufficient or 80 mm (2513 N at 0.5 MPa) is too bulky. The SAIF63X50-10B is optimal for decentralized installations where routing air lines to a distant valve bank is costly. The DC24V terminal coil offers safe, low-voltage control. If your process requires holding a load without live pressure, note that this 5/2 valve routes air but does not lock; you would need an AirTAC SAIL pneumatic lock or BSAI clamp-lock cylinder instead. When replacing, match the 50 mm stroke, 3/8" valve port, DC24V voltage, terminal entry, PT thread, and add an -S magnet if CMSE reed or DMSE electronic sensors are needed.
Quick checklist
At 0.5 MPa, the 63 mm bore provides 1559 N of push force and 1402 N of pull force. At 0.9 MPa, the push force reaches 2805 N.
It uses a 4M310-10 5/2 solenoid valve operating on DC24V. By factory default, the piston rod retracts when the coil is energized, but the valve can be repositioned to extend-when-energised. This eliminates the need for a separate remote valve.
