Because the built-in valve operates at 0.15-0.8 MPa, the practical working pressure for the assembled SAIF unit is 0.15-0.8 MPa, even though the bare cylinder rates to 1.0 MPa. At 0.5 MPa, this 80 mm bore generates 2513 N of push force and 2268 N of pull force. The factory setting retracts the piston rod when the coil is energised, but you can reconfigure it to extend-when-energised by repositioning the valve.
