The AirTAC SAIJ125X425-100 is a double-acting ISO 15552 profile cylinder featuring a rear stroke adjuster. It provides a nominal 425 mm stroke that can be dialed back by up to 100 mm, giving you a precise 325-425 mm usable travel window for product changeovers. In the 125 mm bore class, it outputs 6136 N of push force and 5734 N of pull force at 0.5 MPa.

The extruded aluminum barrel includes sensor grooves on both sides for CMSE reed and DMSE electronic switches. Is the Airtac SAIJ125 Adjustable Cylinder SAIJ125X425-100 the Right Cylinder?

Choose this 125 mm bore when you need more force than the 100 mm class (3927 N push at 0.5 MPa) but less than the heavy 160 mm class (10053 N). The adjustable 325-425 mm travel window is ideal for variable end stops on packaging lines, whereas a fixed-stroke SAI requires physical shims for changeovers. For a drop-in ISO 15552 replacement, match the 425 mm stroke, 100 mm adjustment, PT tapered port thread, and mounting set (Basic, FA, LB, TC, FTC, TCM1, TCM2).

Because the 425 mm stroke is long, the M27x2 rod needs external guidance to prevent binding. Note that the rear adjuster is a travel stop, not a lock; the SAIJ does not hold loads without live air. For dead-stop holding, use an external rod lock or pilot-operated check valve.
