The AirTAC Airtac SAUF Series Valve-Mounted Air Cylinder SAUF40X900-06B is a genuine double-acting profile-type cylinder with a Ø40mm bore, 900mm stroke and a built-in 4M210-06 5/2 solenoid valve — it switches itself from one coil signal, so no separate remote valve or extra plumbing is needed.
The SAUF40X900-06B is a double-acting profile cylinder with a built-in AirTAC 4M210 5/2 solenoid valve on the cap. One DC24V coil signal drives the actuator directly, eliminating remote plumbing and saving a manifold slot. The extruded aluminum barrel makes it shorter than an ISO 15552 cylinder of the same bore.
It delivers 628 N push and 528 N pull at 0.5 MPa. The integrated valve operates at 0.15-0.8 MPa with a 1/8" port and Cv 0.78, running up to 5 cycles/s. This yields a safe working load of roughly 377 N, or a 32 kg vertical lift with a 2:1 margin. The cylinder body rates to 1.0 MPa, but size within the valve's 0.8 MPa limit. This SKU lacks a magnet and cannot take a sensor.

The cylinder rates to 1.0 MPa but the built-in valve operates 0.15–0.8 MPa, so run the assembled SAUF at 0.15–0.8 MPa. Default: rod retracts when the coil is energised (reconfigurable to extend). Specs follow the official AirTAC SAUF datasheet. Port options: PT / G.

Sized within the valve's 0.15–0.8 MPa range. Actual usable force is lower than theoretical due to friction and back-pressure.

SAUF does not hold its load without air — the valve routes air, it is not a lock. For a held load, add an external rod lock or a pilot-operated check valve.
Mounts directly at the divert gate. The integrated 4M210 valve switches the 900 mm stroke locally, removing long tube runs back to a central manifold.
Ideal for spaced-out warehouse pushers. The DC24V terminal connection drives the actuator independently without dedicating a valve island slot.
Uses the 40 mm bore to actuate a distant machine guard. The built-in valve handles the 1.5 m/s flow locally, ensuring rapid response far from the controller.
Size force between the 0.15-0.8 MPa valve window: this 40 mm bore gives 628 N push at 0.5 MPa. If you need less force, drop to the 32 mm bore (402 N push); for more power, step up to the 50 mm bore (982 N push). Confirm the DC24V terminal entry and PT thread match your control setup. The rod retracts when the coil energises; reposition the valve to reverse this to extend-when-energised. The valve routes air and is not a lock, so add an external rod lock or pilot-operated check valve to hold a load. At 900 mm stroke, use an external guide to prevent rod bending and side loads.
Quick checklist
It generates 628 N push and 528 N pull at 0.5 MPa. The built-in valve is a 4M210-06 (1/8" port, Cv 0.78, 5 cycles/s max) running on DC24V. Although the cylinder body rates to 1.0 MPa, the assembled unit must operate within the valve's 0.15-0.8 MPa window. The cylinder air port is 1/4".
By default the rod retracts when the coil is energised. You can reposition the valve to make it extend-when-energised. The valve only routes air; it does not lock the piston. On air loss the rod drifts, so install an external rod lock or pilot-operated check valve for load holding.
