AirTAC SAUF Series Valve-Type Cylinders

The AirTAC SAUF series is a double-acting profile cylinder with a built-in 4M 5-port 2-position solenoid valve mounted on the cap. One coil signal drives the cylinder, making it ideal for decentralized installations. It spans 6 bores from 32 to 100 mm. Standard strokes reach up to 1000 mm for bore 32, 1200 mm for bores 40-50, and 1500 mm for bores 63-100. The cylinder body rates to 1.0 MPa, but the assembled operating pressure is 0.15-0.8 MPa because of the integrated valve.

The force class scales with the bore. At 0.5 MPa, push force spans about 402 N (bore 32) to 3927 N (bore 100). At the 0.8 MPa assembled ceiling, push force spans about 643 N to 6282 N. The shared design features adjustable air cushions at both ends that decelerate the piston near stroke end. These cushions do not lock or hold the load; a mechanical lock or pilot check valve is required for load holding.

Valve sizing depends on the bore: bores 32, 40, and 50 use the 4M210 valve (max actuation 5 cycle/s), while bores 63, 80, and 100 use the 4M310 valve (max actuation 4 cycle/s). The coil is IP65 rated with a response time of 0.05 s or less. A key information-gain fact is that this is an SAU profile-type cylinder, NOT an ISO 15552 cylinder, so it will not serve as a drop-in ISO swap. The -S magnet option supports CMSG/DMSG/EMSG sensors.
