About the AirTAC TCM25

The AirTAC TCM25 is a double-acting three-rod guided cylinder (bronze-bushing guides) with a 25 mm bore. At 0.5 MPa it pushes 245.4 N and pulls 188.9 N; at 0.7 MPa, 343.6 N push and 264.4 N pull. Force depends on bore and pressure only, so every stroke on this page gives the same output.

Two guide rods run in bronze sleeve bearings (M), suited to side loads and impact; the body mounts from the top, rear or underside. All TCM25 versions use 1/8" air ports and run on filtered air at 0.15 to 1.0 MPa (proof 1.5 MPa), from -20 to +70 °C, at 30 to 500 mm/s. This page lists 26 stock order codes with strokes from 15 to 250 mm; the catalog maximum stroke is 250 mm.

Push = pressure × bore area; pull subtracts the Ø12 mm rod area. Usable force is lower because of friction and back-pressure.

Where the TCM25 Is Used

Pick-and-place and stoppers

Guide rods keep tooling square while the cylinder delivers about 245.4 N at 0.5 MPa.

Pushers with side load

The guide rods take side load that would wear a plain cylinder rod.

Lifting and transfer units

Mounts from the top, back or underside to fit compact stations.

Choosing the Right TCM25 Configuration

Start with the stroke. Pick the exact travel your machine needs; a longer stroke adds length and air consumption without adding force. If your length is not listed, request a quote and we will confirm whether it can be built.

Finally pick the version: every code carries a magnet for position sensors; G replaces the standard PT ports with G (BSPP).

AirTAC TCM25 FAQ

No. Every TCM25 gives about 245.4 N push and 188.9 N pull at 0.5 MPa, whatever the stroke.

1/8" ports, PT thread as standard. The G version has G (BSPP) ports.

0.15 to 1.0 MPa operating pressure (proof 1.5 MPa), 30 to 500 mm/s and -20 to +70 °C on filtered air.

Usually yes. Request a quote with the stroke and version and we will confirm whether it can be built, plus price and lead time.

No. You can order a single TCM25. Orders are processed and handed to the carrier within 3-5 business days.
