The AirTAC TCL12 is a double-acting three-rod guided cylinder (linear-bearing guides) with a 12 mm bore. At 0.5 MPa it pushes 56.5 N and pulls 42.4 N; at 0.7 MPa, 79.2 N push and 59.4 N pull. Force depends on bore and pressure only, so every stroke on this page gives the same output.
Two guide rods run in linear ball bearings (L) for smooth, precise travel; the body mounts from the top, rear or underside. All TCL12 versions use M5×0.8 air ports and run on filtered air at 0.15 to 1.0 MPa (proof 1.5 MPa), from -20 to +70 °C, at 30 to 500 mm/s. This page lists 22 stock order codes with strokes from 5 to 150 mm; the catalog maximum stroke is 150 mm.

| Pressure | Push | Pull |
|---|---|---|
| 0.5 MPa | 56.5 N | 42.4 N |
| 0.7 MPa | 79.2 N | 59.4 N |
Push = pressure × bore area; pull subtracts the Ø6 mm rod area. Usable force is lower because of friction and back-pressure.

Guide rods keep tooling square while the cylinder delivers about 56.5 N at 0.5 MPa.
The guide rods take side load that would wear a plain cylinder rod.
Mounts from the top, back or underside to fit compact stations.
Start with the stroke. Pick the exact travel your machine needs; a longer stroke adds length and air consumption without adding force. If your length is not listed, request a quote and we will confirm whether it can be built.
Finally pick the version: every code carries a magnet for position sensors.
No. Every TCL12 gives about 56.5 N push and 42.4 N pull at 0.5 MPa, whatever the stroke.
M5×0.8 ports.
0.15 to 1.0 MPa operating pressure (proof 1.5 MPa), 30 to 500 mm/s and -20 to +70 °C on filtered air.
Usually yes. Request a quote with the stroke and version and we will confirm whether it can be built, plus price and lead time.
