About the AirTAC TN16
The AirTAC TN16 is a double-acting twin-rod cylinder (two pistons working in parallel) with a 16 mm bore. At 0.5 MPa it pushes 201.1 N and pulls 150.8 N; at 0.7 MPa, 281.5 N push and 211.1 N pull. Force depends on bore and pressure only, so every stroke on this page gives the same output.
Two parallel pistons double the output and resist bending and twisting, so the TN can carry some side load; a front bumper lets the extend stroke be trimmed by up to 5 mm. All TN16 versions use M5×0.8 air ports and run on filtered air at 0.15 to 1.0 MPa (proof 1.5 MPa), from -20 to +70 °C, at 30 to 500 mm/s.
