About the AirTAC SDA100
The AirTAC SDA100 is a double-acting thin compact cylinder with a 100 mm bore and a 32 mm piston rod. At 0.5 MPa it pushes 3927 N and pulls 3525 N; at 0.7 MPa that rises to 5498 N push and 4935 N pull. Force depends on bore and pressure only, so every stroke on this page gives the same output.
All SDA100 versions share 3/8" air ports, an M18×1.5 female rod thread (B versions have a M26×1.5 male rod end) and rubber bumpers at both ends. The cylinder runs on filtered air between 0.15 and 1.0 MPa (proof 1.5 MPa), from -20 to +70 °C, at 30 to 500 mm/s. This page lists 146 stock order codes with strokes from 5 to 160 mm; catalog standard strokes run up to 120 mm, and the longer codes are non-standard strokes we already supply.

Choosing the Right SDA100 Configuration
Start with the stroke. Pick the exact travel your machine needs; a longer stroke adds length, weight and air consumption without adding force. If your length is not listed, request a quote and we will confirm whether it can be built.
Then choose the mounting. Basic (no code) uses the cylinder's own mounting holes. Foot and flange mountings hold the cylinder rigid for straight-line loads; clevis and trunnion mountings let it pivot when the load moves in an arc.
Finally pick the version: S adds a magnet for position sensors; the standard seal suits general automation; B gives a male threaded rod end instead of the standard female thread; H (FKM) is for higher temperatures or oil-contaminated air; N specifies NBR.
