The AirTAC TACQ63 is a double-acting compact (ultra-thin) cylinder with a 63 mm bore and a 20 mm piston rod. At 0.5 MPa it pushes 1559 N and pulls 1402 N; at 0.7 MPa that rises to 2182 N push and 1962 N pull. Force depends on bore and pressure only, so every stroke on this page gives the same output. Two guide rods hold the end plate against rotation: AirTAC rates the non-rotation accuracy at ±0.15°, the angle the plate can turn with the cylinder fully retracted. The double guide rods resist bending and torsion, so the cylinder takes larger moving and side loads; they are hard-chrome-plated S45C steel running in brass bushings.
All TACQ63 versions share 1/4" air ports and rubber bumpers at both ends. The cylinder runs on filtered air between 0.15 and 1.0 MPa (proof 1.5 MPa), from -20 to +70 °C, at 30 to 500 mm/s. This page lists 23 stock order codes with strokes from 10 to 100 mm; catalog standard strokes run up to 100 mm.

| Pressure | Push | Pull |
|---|---|---|
| 0.5 MPa | 1559 N | 1402 N |
| 0.7 MPa | 2182 N | 1962 N |
Push = pressure × bore area; pull subtracts the Ø20 mm rod area. Usable force is lower because of friction and back-pressure.

About 1559 N at 0.5 MPa covers most pushing, lifting and indexing tasks.
Foot or flange mounting holds the cylinder rigid for clamps.
Clevis and trunnion versions drive mechanisms that swing.
Start with the stroke. Pick the exact travel your machine needs; a longer stroke adds length, weight and air consumption without adding force. If your length is not listed, request a quote and we will confirm whether it can be built.
Every code on this page is the basic version without a mounting code: the cylinder is fixed through its own mounting holes.
Finally pick the version: S adds a magnet for position sensors; G replaces the standard PT ports with G (BSPP).
No. Every TACQ63 gives about 1559 N push and 1402 N pull at 0.5 MPa, whatever the stroke.
±0.15°, measured as the angle the end plate can turn with the cylinder fully retracted (AirTAC catalog). The two guide rods also carry side loads that would bend a plain piston rod.
1/4" ports, PT thread as standard. The G version has G (BSPP) ports.
Every code on this page is the basic version without a mounting code; the cylinder is fixed through its own mounting holes.
Usually yes. Request a quote with the stroke, mounting and version and we will confirm whether it can be built, plus price and lead time.
0.15 to 1.0 MPa operating pressure (proof 1.5 MPa) and -20 to +70 °C on filtered air.
