About the AirTAC TACE80
The AirTAC TACE80 is a double-acting compact cylinder with an 80 mm bore and a 20 mm piston rod. At 0.5 MPa it pushes 2513 N and pulls 2356 N; at 0.7 MPa that rises to 3519 N push and 3299 N pull. Force depends on bore and pressure only, so every stroke on this page gives the same output. AirTAC builds the TACE80 as the guide-rod version of the ACE compact cylinder (double-acting with guide rods); its order codes have no rod-end thread option.
All TACE80 versions share 1/8" air ports and rubber bumpers at both ends. The cylinder runs on filtered air between 0.15 and 1.0 MPa (proof 1.5 MPa), from -20 to +70 °C, at 30 to 500 mm/s. This page lists 34 stock order codes with strokes from 5 to 100 mm; the catalog maximum stroke is 100 mm.

Choosing the Right TACE80 Configuration
Start with the stroke. Pick the exact travel your machine needs; a longer stroke adds length, weight and air consumption without adding force. If your length is not listed, request a quote and we will confirm whether it can be built.
Then choose the mounting. Basic (no code) uses the cylinder's own mounting holes. Foot and flange mountings hold the cylinder rigid for straight-line loads; clevis and trunnion mountings let it pivot when the load moves in an arc.
Finally pick the version: S adds a magnet for position sensors.
