The AirTAC STA series is a single-acting compact (thin) cylinder where air retracts the rod and an internal spring pushes it back out. This pull configuration ensures a fail-safe extended state upon air loss. It features a space-saving riveted body with C-clip retention, distinguishing it from tie-rod or ISO cylinders.
The range covers 8 bores from 12 to 63 mm. Ports scale with size: M5x0.8 for 12-25 mm, PT1/8 for 32-40 mm, and PT1/4 for 50-63 mm. Deceleration is handled by a fixed NBR bumper. The JIS single-acting pull equivalent is ATQ.
