About the AirTAC HSV
The AirTAC HSV is a 3/2-way hand slide valve that fits inline in an air line: sliding the sleeve one way opens the supply, sliding it back shuts the supply and vents the downstream side. It comes in 1/8" to 1" port sizes, with four combinations of male and female threads so it suits different piping.
The large flow path keeps pressure loss low (up to 392 mm², Cv 21.78 on the 1" size), and the sleeve slides smoothly with a positive feel. The spool is hard-anodized and the aluminum body anodized, so the colour lasts. It works from 0 to 1.0 MPa on air filtered to 40 µm, -20 to +70 °C, with no lubrication.

Choosing the Right HSV Configuration
Choose the port size to match your air line: 06 = 1/8" up to 25 = 1". Larger sizes pass more air (see the effective area in the specifications).
Then the thread form: SS has male threads at both ends, FF female at both ends, SF male on one side and female on the other; the standard version has no code.
The versions stocked here are PT thread; the catalog also lists G and NPT (code G or T).
