About the AirTAC HFTK
The AirTAC HFTK is a parallel pneumatic gripper whose two jaws run on an integrated crossed-roller linear guide, giving high rigidity, precision and load capacity. It is single acting, normally open: with no air the spring keeps the jaws open, and air closes them. The catalog rates its air-driven closing force. Jaw stroke is 4 to 30 mm (both sides) across Ø10 to Ø40 mm bores.
Locating pins under the guide keep it aligned with the body, and a locating hole in the body makes repeat mounting accurate. The body mounts from the side, the front (tapped or through holes) or the rear. Every version has a magnet, with round and square sensor grooves on the body so sensors fit without brackets.

Choosing the Right HFTK Configuration
Choose the bore by the closing force you need at 0.5 MPa (see the specifications; forces are for one jaw at gripping distance L = 20 mm as defined in the catalog). A longer gripping distance lowers the usable force.
Then the jaw type, which sets how your fingers attach: standard (no code), B side mounting, N through-hole mounting, F bottom mounting. The wide-jaw versions R (standard), W (side mounting) and M (through-hole) come in Ø10 to Ø25 only.

AirTAC HFTK FAQ
The HFTK is single acting, normally open; the HFK is double acting; the HFSK is single acting, normally closed. Otherwise they share the same bores and jaw types.
Blank is the standard jaw, B side mounting, N through-hole mounting, F bottom mounting; R, W and M are the wide-jaw versions of standard, side and through-hole mounting (Ø10 to Ø25).
Every version has a built-in magnet. Sensors are ordered separately: CMSH, DMSH or EMSH for the round groove on all bores, and CMSG, DMSG or EMSG for the square groove on Ø16 and up.
0.35-0.7 MPa on Ø10, 0.25-0.7 MPa on Ø16 and up, -20 to +70 °C, on air filtered to 40 µm. No lubrication is needed.
