The AirTAC MFD series is the double-rod variant of the MF JIS round-body mini cylinder. A rod exits both ends, so the push and pull force are equal in both directions. It uses an SUS304 stainless steel barrel with aluminum covers and is shorter than an ISO 6432 cylinder of the same bore.
The range covers 20 mm and 25 mm bores with 8 mm and 10 mm rod diameters. Strokes extend up to 300 mm. The equal force class yields about 132 N at 0.5 MPa for the 20 mm bore and 206 N for the 25 mm bore. Ports are 1/8 inch with PT, G or NPT threads.
It is double-acting with a fixed TPU bumper for end-of-stroke deceleration only. The twin rods resist rotation and provide a steadier guide. The rear rod can carry a sensor cam. Add the -S magnet option for CMSG, DMSG or EMSG sensors. Operating pressure is 0.15-1.0 MPa at speeds of 30-800 mm/s.

How to Choose the Right Model
Choose the 20 mm bore for lighter loads up to 132 N and the 25 mm bore for 206 N loads at 0.5 MPa. Select the -S magnet option if you need end-of-stroke sensing via CMSG, DMSG or EMSG sensors. Confirm these five points: bore size (20 or 25 mm), stroke up to 300 mm, port thread (PT, G or NPT), mounting style, and the magnet option.
Stay within the MFD series for compact JIS applications needing anti-rotation or a rear sensor cam. Step to the MFCD if you need adjustable cushions alongside the double rod. For a stainless ISO 6432 double-rod mini, choose the MID, or choose the MBLD for an aluminum double-rod mini body.
