About the AirTAC HLF
The AirTAC HLF is a double-acting ultra-slim precision slide cylinder: a crossed roller guide sits beside the cylinder instead of on top of it, which keeps the unit thin. It has good straightness and anti-rotation accuracy for precision assembly, mounts from 2 directions and can be piped from 2.
It comes in Ø8 to Ø20 mm bores and 10 to 100 mm strokes, every version with a built-in magnet for CMSH, DMSH or EMSH sensors. Fixed cushions stop both ends; it works on air filtered to 40 µm at 50 to 500 mm/s, -20 to +70 °C.

Choose the bore by the load: the maximum concentrated load is Ø8 0.6 kg, Ø12 1 kg, Ø16 2 kg, Ø20 4 kg. At higher speeds the catalog applies a reduction factor.
Then the stroke: Ø8 10, 20, 30 mm; Ø12 10, 20, 30, 40, 50 mm; Ø16 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 75, 100 mm; Ø20 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 75, 100 mm.
Keep the moving load within the allowable kinetic energy: Ø8 0.027 J, Ø12 0.055 J, Ø16 0.11 J, Ø20 0.16 J.
