About the AirTAC TACE16
The AirTAC TACE16 is a double-acting compact cylinder with a 16 mm bore and an 8 mm piston rod. At 0.5 MPa it pushes 101 N and pulls 75 N; at 0.7 MPa that rises to 141 N push and 106 N pull. Force depends on bore and pressure only, so every stroke on this page gives the same output. AirTAC builds the TACE16 as the guide-rod version of the ACE compact cylinder (double-acting with guide rods); its order codes have no rod-end thread option.
All TACE16 versions share M5×0.8 air ports and rubber bumpers at both ends. The cylinder runs on filtered air between 0.15 and 1.0 MPa (proof 1.5 MPa), from -20 to +70 °C, at 30 to 500 mm/s. This page lists 28 stock order codes with strokes from 5 to 75 mm; the catalog maximum stroke is 75 mm.

Choosing the Right TACE16 Configuration
Start with the stroke. Pick the exact travel your machine needs; a longer stroke adds length, weight and air consumption without adding force. If your length is not listed, request a quote and we will confirm whether it can be built.
Then choose the mounting. Basic (no code) uses the cylinder's own mounting holes. Foot and flange mountings hold the cylinder rigid for straight-line loads; clevis and trunnion mountings let it pivot when the load moves in an arc.
Finally pick the version: S adds a magnet for position sensors.
