About the AirTAC ATE20
The AirTAC ATE20 is a single-acting, spring-return compact cylinder (pull type) with a 20 mm bore and a 10 mm piston rod. Compressed air retracts the rod and a built-in spring extends it when the air is released, so the rod rests extended; only one port takes air. Catalog output with the spring force already deducted is 88.1 N pull at 0.5 MPa and 135.2 N at 0.7 MPa. The spring stroke has no air behind it, so it must not carry a load.
All ATE20 versions share 1/8" air ports, an M6×1.0 rod thread and rubber bumpers at both ends. The cylinder runs on filtered air between 0.2 and 1.0 MPa (proof 1.5 MPa), from -20 to +70 °C, at 50 to 500 mm/s.
